Q: How do I sign up for Pet or Home Care Services?

A: You can call Pamela at 623-465-PETS (7387) or click the 'Send An Email' icon at the bottom of any page. Either way you choose to contact us, Pamela will be happy to help with all your pet and house care needs.

Q: What is a New Client Service Consultation?

A: The New Client Service Consultation is required for all new Clients and their pet(s). The meeting is designed to answer questions, tour your home while discussing detailed instructions on how to care for your loving pet(s) and ensure all the necessary paperwork is complete. Also at this meeting, the Client has the option to provide two (2) working keys to be used during the Service Period. If keys are not provided at the Consultation there will be a $15.00 Key Pick Up fee.

Q: What is the best way to contact YBBPC, by phone or email?

A: Calling us is always the best way to contact us. We will happily respond to emails however we don’t check email as often as we check voice mail. Our promise to you is to respond to you in 24 hours or less.

Q: If I call and I get the voicemail, what type of information should I leave and when can I expect a call back?

A: Please leave a detailed message with the following: 1) Contact information include your name, your phone number and best time to reach you. 2) Type of Service you are interested in with Dates of the service 3) If Pet Care Services, please tell us what type of pet(s) 4) Approximate location of your residence. We promise is to respond to you in 24 hours or less.

Q: Is Your Best Buddy Pet or Home Care Bonded and Insured?

A: Yes! All Pet and Home Care Specialist are Bonded and Insured through Pet Sitters Associates, LLC.

Q: When is the best time to give the Pet or Home Care Specialist my keys?

A: The best time is at the New Client Service Consultation. YBBPC requires two (2) working keys. If you choose to provide the keys at a later date, there will be a $15.00 Key Pick Up fee charged.

Q: Is the information I give the Pet or Home Care Specialist confidential?

A: Yes! We are committed to keeping all information we receive from our Clients confidential. We promise to only use your information as a means to take good care of your pet(s) and home while we are servicing your pet and house care needs.

Q: What is YBBPC Cancellation Policy?

A: YBBPC understands plans change and does not generally charge a cancellation fee with adequate notice. However, if the Client cancels 24 hours or less before the intended scheduled visit, there may be a $30.00 administration fee.

Q: What is a Service Period?

A: An agreement period between the Client and the Pet of Home Care Specialist for services rendered.

Q: Will my keys be returned after the Service Period?

A: YBBPC recommends that the Client become a part of the Key Ready Program so that future services can be obtained easily. However, if the Client chooses not to become a part of the Key Ready Program, YBBPC will return your keys via personal drop off ($15.00 fee) or by US Mail ($10.00 fee). YBBPC cannot be held liable for keys sent through US Mail system.

Q: How are payments handled?

A: If you are a first time Client, YBBPC request the total estimated payment is made up front (before services start). If the estimate payment is incorrect (due to mileage or additional services) then you’ll be invoiced (at the end of the Service Period) for the remaining amount. Returning Clients can either pay up front or request a final invoice. If your services are calculated on a weekly or monthly basis (services for Exercising) the Client will be invoiced on a weekly basis. All invoices are requested to be paid no later than seven (7) days following the end of the Service Period.

Q: Where do I mail my payment?

A: Your Best Buddy Pet Care, 711 E Carefree Hwy Suite 102-623, Phoenix AZ 85085.

Q: Can I give a gratuity to my Pet or Home Care Specialist?

A: Yes, absolutely! You can either give the gratuity directly to your Pet or Home Care Specialist or you can mail it (see address on previous question). 100% of the gratuity goes to the Pet or Home Care Specialist.

Q: At my New Client Service Consultation, the Pet or Home Care Specialist requested a credit card number be retained on file even though I was paying by cash- Why?

A: YBBPC may request to obtain/retain Client credit card information which will be held in confidence by YBBPC. The Client can authorize YBBPC to charge the retained credit card for payments of individual or reoccurring services. Client credit card may also be charged for overdue invoices.

Q: Will I have the same Pet or Home Care Specialist?

A: We prefer that you have the same Pet or Home Care Specialist for your pet or home care needs. However, sometimes that might not be possible. If this situation arises, YBBPC will schedule a quick meet and greet session with the pet or home care specialist so you know who will be caring for your pet(s) and or home.

Q: I am leaving in 2 days and I only have time to fill out paperwork but can’t set up a New Client Service Consultation. Will you take care of my pet care needs without meeting the Pet Care Specialist?

A: We are sorry, but unless we’ve already met you and your pet(s) we will not take care of them prior to a New Client Service Consultation. This is for both your safety and the safety of the Pet Care Specialist who will be coming into your home to take care of your pet care needs. We are sometimes available for a last minute New Client Service Consultations.

Q: Do you offer overnight Pet or House Care Services?

A: At this time, we do not offer overnight Pet or House Care services.

Q: Does YBBPC charge a Holiday fee?

A: We do not charge any holiday fees.

Q: Does YBBPC charge for mileage?

A: Certain Services will have a mileage charge associated (i.e. Buddy Errands). The mileage charge will be determined in conjunction with current gas prices. Mileage is charged if YBBPC goes beyond 12 mile round trip from Pet’s residence.

Q: What types of Animals does YBBPC provide Pet Care for?

A: YBBPC cares for ALL animals with the exception of snakes (sorry!). We take pride in our specialized care for Bunnies. Please take a look at

Q: Can YBBPC administer medication to my Animals?

A: Yes. YBBPC requests that all details in regards to medication are reviewed with the Pet Care Specialist and documented. We will be happy to administer medication per details as long as your pet(s) do not pose a threat to the Pet Care Specialist or themselves.

Q: What if I need specialized services?

A: YBBPC will try our best to meet your Pet and Home Care needs. YBBPC offer Customized Buddy Care for when same minute visits in the same day does not meet your needs. All Customized Buddy Care will be discussed and agreed to betweeen YBBPC and the Client.

Q: What types of Home Care visits does YBBPC offer?

A: YBBPC offers Home Care visits for vacationers, those out of town on Business and those who have winter homes. We also offer a ‘waiting service’ for those that can’t leave work to meet the Cable Guy or AC Repairman.

Q: Does YBBPC scoop up after my pet(s)?

A: YBBPC will properly dispose of pet(s) waste incurred during the scheduled in home visit(s) or outdoor walks.

Q: Are there any complimentary services with pet and home care services?

A: Yes. YBBPC does provide the following on a complimentary basis collection of mail and/or newspaper, setting out/bringing in trash and/or recycle bins, turning off/on lights, adjusting blinds/curtains and reasonable watering of indoor and outdoor plants.
