Greetings Fellow Pets:

Buddy here (I’m the very cute white and black bunny). Me and my ‘sisters’ Bella and Lana (they are the gorgeous steel gray bunnies below) want to tell you about our ‘Mommy’. We understand humans call our ‘Mommy’ - Pamela (and she does prefer Pamela over Pam).

We know you might be concerned when your parent(s) (and family) leave home and you are all alone. This experience can be traumatic or maybe you think of it as a ‘party time’ (and I am sure your parent(s) probably aren’t happy to come home to the after party mess…). Either way, it’s best to have someone take care of you when they are away. We say who is better than our ‘Mommy’ (Pamela) to come and care for you- she takes wonderful care of us! In fact, our parents built us our own room in their house! Your parent(s) (and family) can have peace of mind that you will be well cared for while they are away – ‘Mommy’ treats every animal like a member of her family.

You are probably wondering what makes our ‘Mommy’ so special……gosh, where do we begin? She has a long history with many different types of animals. She tells us she grew up on a small farm (8 acres) in Ansonia, Ohio where her family had cows, sheep, chickens, dogs and about a million kitties. Since it was farm land area, her neighbors also had a wide variety of animals which she visited and played with often- there were turkeys, pigs, horses, donkeys more cows, sheep, dogs and kitties. After high school she left for the ‘big city’- Dayton, Ohio. She worked full time while she attended college (she had to pay for her apartment and bills somehow). After graduating college, she moved to Michigan for 4 years-she took a retail manager job at a large toy store chain. She liked that for awhile, but she says she had bigger plans for herself so she headed for Phoenix Arizona. Once arriving in Phoenix, she set her out for her first corporate job- and she got it and stayed there for 9.5 years! She realized that she loves animals so much that she just had to work with them…… enter ‘Your Best Buddy Pet Care’……could it be named after me????

Alright Buddy…..move over it’s my turn to say a few things about our ‘Mommy’, it's Bella here (the one with the ‘up’ ears). I want to let you know, that Lana and I ‘found Mommy’- she didn’t have any experience with Bunnies before us…..we trained her how to care for Bunnies. Well ok, we had some help- our ex-home Brambley Hedge Rabbit Rescue (in Scottsdale) helped train her and ‘Daddy’- they have volunteered every Saturday for almost 4 years now! They LOVE every minute of volunteering- the best part she says is when a Bunny gets a ‘forever home’- like the one she gave all of us. We can say now that ‘Mommy’ is very knowledgeable about Bunnies- in fact she specializes in caring for Bunnies. But don’t let that make you think you have to be a Bunny to have our ‘Mommy’ come care for you- she enjoys, loves and cares for all animals…however she says she is sorry but she doesn’t care for snakes.

Lana here (the one with the (down) lop ears)….another thing that makes ‘Mommy’ great is she spends a lot of time learning about all animals through reading and researching. She says you can never know too much and there is just so much information out there. ‘Mommy’ wants to know as much as she can so she can give the very best care that she can give to any animal. Also, on top of all that, she has taken a Pet First Aid and CPR class (she got ‘Daddy’ to go with her), she attends Vet Classes where they discuss animal topics and she is also currently becoming a certificated Dog Trainer- graduation is pending in 2007. Mommy and Daddy says we are getting puppies one day but they haven’t found the right puppies to fit into our family yet.

All of us want to let you know that you’d be in very good hands with our ‘Mommy’ caring for you. Please tell your Guardians to give her a call!
